Mariah Aiyana

Mariah Aiyana is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over 14 years of clinical experience specializing in the assessment and treatment of cognitive-communication, speech, language, and swallowing disorders. She has extensive experience working with individuals recovering from traumatic brain injury, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, and other neurological conditions across home health, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Master of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from California State University, Sacramento, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Magna Cum Laude, respectively.
Her clinical approach focuses on helping individuals regain communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities while maximizing independence and quality of life. She works collaboratively with physicians, rehabilitation specialists, patients, and families to develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that support meaningful recovery. Her professional interests include acquired brain injury, cognitive rehabilitation, neuroplasticity, interdisciplinary care, and culturally responsive practice.
