Dr. Sonya Meyers is an occupational medicine physician with over 10 years of experience providing care in Spanish and English. Her experience in customer software support and her degrees in engineering, medicine, and public health help her connect with patients and to diagnose, explain, and treat injuries, while navigating the worker compensation system. Dr. Meyers graduated from University of California at Berkeley in chemical engineering. She earned medical and public health degrees from University of Illinois at Chicago, where she also completed residency in occupational and environmental medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Meyers volunteers with local and national occupational medicine societies with an interest in legislative affairs and education. She supports the UC Berkeley Computer Science Undergraduate Association as an alumni panel speaker. She also enjoys supporting Scouts BSA in Santa Clara County.
