Dr. Babak Jamasbi, MD, FACPM, QME
Dr. Babak Jamasbi

Dr. Jamasbi received his medical Doctorate from The University of Maryland, School of Medicine and completed his Pain Management fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center. He has held a position as Assistant Clinical Professor at Stanford Medical Center. He is the co-founder of Pain and Rehabilitative Consultants Medical Group, Northern California Functional Restoration Program and Bay Surgery Center. He has served as Medical Director of Pain Management at Alta Bates Comprehensive Cancer Center and was one of the founders of the Spasticity management program at Alta Bates Medical center. He has served as physician Champion at Sutter to set up treatment protocols for management of chronic back pain.

He has been on the board of the directors of California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery for many years and has served as the President of the Society. He is a member of The International Association for the Study of Pain. He is Board Certified with the American Board of Anesthesiology with added qualification on Pain Management and a member of The American Board of Pain Medicine.

Dr. Brendan P. Morley, MD, FACPM, APC, QME
Dr. Brendan P. Morley
Dr. Morley is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles School of Medicine and received postgraduate training as a Fellow in Pain Management at the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine . He is a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain, American Pain Society, and the American Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Morley received a Certificate of Recognition for Support of Hospice in May 1998 from the California State Senate, and is certified with the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Morley has been in private practice since 1995 in the East Bay . Dr. Morley is co-founder of the Northern California Functional Restoration Medical Group, as well as co-owner of the Pain and Rehabilitative Consultants Medical Group (PRC) in Oakland, CA from 1995 to present..
Dr. Timothy S. Lo, M.D., M.P.H
Timothy S. Lo
Dr. Lo is a graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and completed his residency in Neurology at Columbia University Medical Center . He completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School and is trained in interventional pain procedures. He is board certified in Neurology and performs electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS). He received a Masters in Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley and is a medically-trained acupuncturist. He is a member of the American Pain Society, International Association for the Study of Pain, American Academy of Neurology, and the American Headache Society. He joined the Pain and Rehabilitative Consultants Medical Group in Oakland, CA in July 2007.
Dr. Ernest Cheng, D.O.
Dr. Ernest Cheng
Dr. Cheng completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois and medical school at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. He received post-graduate training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rush University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident, followed by fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management at Pain and Rehabilitative Consultants. He joined Pain and Rehabilitative Consultants as an associate in 2007. He is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Cheng specializes in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of painful musculoskeletal and spinal disorders. He holds additional expertise in Interventional Pain Management, Sports Medicine and Electrodiagnosis (EMG/NCV), and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Sports Performance Coach. He is an active member of the International Spine Intervention Society, American College of Sports Medicine and National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Mark Phillips, P.A.
Mark Phillips
Mark Phillips started his medical career as a Navy corpsman, completing nursing training in 1996. Mr. Phillips received a Physician Assistant Certificate from Stanford University in January 1999. Mr. Phillips has worked with Pain and Rehabilitative Consultants Medical Group since 2003. Mr. Phillips is experienced with worker\'s compensation patients, and has worked extensively with Dr. Morley and Dr. Jamasbi providing exceptional cost effective care to chronic pain patients.
Susie Paik, Certified Physician Assistant
Susie Paik
Susie Paik graduated from Des Moines University in August 2006 with a Master's degree in Science in Physician Assistant studies. She then received her certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She joined Pain and Rehabilitative Consultants Medical Group in January 2007.
